Job summary

Morrisons Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Technical / Quality professional to monitor and audit production, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You will investigate incidents using root-cause analysis and support external accreditations such as BRC and Morrisons standards.

Join a busy site where you will help ensure smooth launches of new product lines and maintain high quality across processes. A proactive, collaborative approach and HACCP familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Good PC skills, especially using Google tools.
• Food experience in a technical role is desirable.
• HACCP or food safety qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control and audit the production process.
• Ensure conformity and non-conformity are communicated and closed off.
• Investigate food safety incidents using root cause analysis.

Our Technical / Quality team is a very important team when it comes to Morrisons Manufacturing. It's down to them to ensure we're legally compliant from a food safety point of view. Our sites are super busy, ever-demanding and our standards are high - keeping our Technical team busy every day.

Reporting to the Shift Technical Manager, you will:

• Monitor, control and audit the production process
• Ensure that conformity and non-conformity are communicated, followed up and closed off
• Investigate any food safety incidents applying root cause analysis and ensure that the day to day site technical function is achieved
• Support the site management team during any external accreditation such as BRC and Morrisons manufacturing standards
• Ensure that the site production is supported during the launch of any new product line

As well as a keen eye for detail you will also need:

• To be a team player and an effective communicator
