Job summary

MAGMAS, based in Northampton, is seeking a Technical Administrator to support the Water Networks Team. The role focuses on day-to-day administration, coordinating meetings, and maintaining health and safety records while fostering strong stakeholder relationships within the Anglian Water region.

You will liaise with Fire and Rescue services, manage SharePoint documentation, support training and onboarding, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

We're looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Water Services team based in Northampton.

Location: Northampton

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Water Networks Team in a role that's pivotal to day-to-day operations. You'll play a key part in liaising with Fire and Rescue services across the Anglian Water region, ensuring seamless communication and administration. This role offers variety, with responsibilities spanning from coordinating team meetings and maintaining health and safety records, to managing stakeholder relationships and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What will you be responsible for?

As a Technical Administrator, You'll Be Working Within The Water Networks Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Efficient And Effective Water Services. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Liaising with Fire and Rescue services to ensure work orders are raised, processed, completed and invoiced within agreed service levels
  • Coordinating meetings including scheduling, preparing agendas, tracking actions and ensuring effective communication across the team
  • Maintaining health and safety records, supporting compliance activities and driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Managing the team SharePoint site and maintaining accurate records in line with information governance requirements
  • Supporting the team with training coordination, onboarding and administrative activities that keep operations running smoothly
