We are seeking a versatile Technical/Administrative Assistant to support the project team with the preparation of contract documents and data packages to support various programme requirements. The role involves the creation and maintenance of technical documents, including instruction manuals and user guides, as well as supporting the team with project administration.

The successful candidate will need to display the desire, drive, and determination to perform as part of a team. You will be given responsibility requiring you to organise your workload and be proactive. Full training and mentoring will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exceptional experience.

Main activities & responsibilities:
  • Produce controlled management system documents in line with specification and quality standards.
  • Edit and update existing documents to ensure compliance with specification and quality standards.
  • Carry out editing on documents to ensure that they are clear, understandable, and appropriate to the target audience.
  • Incorporate and publish approved change requests in accordance with Company procedure.
  • Assist Document Owners and users throughout the business to ensure compliance with governance processes.
  • Maintain records and audit trail of all changes to controlled documentation.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as but not limited to; processing new enquiries/orders, raising purchase orders on Sage, maintaining project programmes and bills of materials, coordinating meetings, and recording minutes.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an engineering/project management environment.
  • IT knowledge, including Microsoft 365 Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sage (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and time management skills.
  • Takes pride in their work and adopts a positive attitude to work.
  • Ability to work in a small, cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
