Job summary

Miniclip is hiring a Technical Accounting Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract in London. You will report to the Head of Financial Reporting, working with studio finance teams and auditors to implement IFRS 18 and develop group accounting policies.

This full-time hybrid role requires UK work rights and involves leading technical accounting assessments and coordinating year-end reporting across our international group.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong post-qualification experience in technical accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and practical application.
• Experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters.
• Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into clear, audit-ready conclusions.
• Experience implementing IFRS 18 or similar standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting assessments for new transactions and arrangements (IFRS 15, IFRS 2, IFRS 3).
• Research, analyse and document complex accounting matters and develop practical conclusions.
• Support development and implementation of Group accounting policies and positions.
• Collaborate with international finance stakeholders to ensure consistent IFRS application.
• Support year-end reporting and audit coordination with external auditors.
• Assist with consolidation and review of subsidiary financial statements.
• Manage multiple technical accounting projects from initial research to final documentation.
