Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnering with a fast-growing Technology company in London to hire a Technical Accounting Manager on a permanent basis. The role focuses on leading IFRS/UK GAAP compliance, preparing complex accounting papers, and supporting the business through transactions and financial reporting.

You will report to a senior leader and work in a small but growing team, translating technical accounting into clear business language and driving continuous improvement across accounting policies

Qualifications

• ACA qualified with IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS expertise.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate accounting to business language.

Responsibilities

• Lead on technical accounting matters including IFRS/UK GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and review complex accounting papers and position papers.
• Support the business through transactions, audits, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
• Drive continuous improvement across accounting policies and processes.

I am partnering with a fast-growing Technology company on a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Accounting Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a brilliant role for someone looking to step out of practice and into a high-growth sector, where you'll play a key role in shaping the technical accounting framework of a business that's going through a lot of change. Reporting to the senior leader and working in a small but growing team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading on all technical accounting matters including IFRS/UK GAAP compliance
• Preparing and reviewing complex accounting papers and position papers
• Supporting the business through transactions, audits, and financial reporting
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
• Driving continuous improvement across accounting policies and processes

What we’re looking for:

• ACA qualified, ideally from a Top 10 practice
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS essential
• Excellent communication skills and able to translate complex accounting into clear business language
