? Team Lead, Technical Account Managers

? London, UK | Full-time | Senior Level

I'm working with a high-growth, cutting-edge observability platform that’s transforming how businesses monitor and optimize their systems. My client is looking for a Team Lead for Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to lead a team responsible for technical onboarding, customer success, and deep observability insights for enterprise clients.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone with strong technical depth in cloud and observability, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for building and mentoring high-performing teams.

? Role Overview:

  • Lead and coach a team of TAMs to deliver world-class onboarding and technical account management.
  • Define and track KPIs tied to customer success and product adoption.
  • Provide hands-on guidance on implementing observability tools—logs, metrics, traces, and beyond.
  • Act as the key escalation point for technical challenges and align customer goals with platform capabilities.
  • Use data to drive improvements across customer experience, product feedback, and operational efficiency.
  • Solid experience in Cloud DevOps (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), including services like EKS, ECS, Lambda, etc.
  • Proficiency with observability platforms such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of RegEx, Lucene, PromQL.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and owning the end-to-end onboarding journey.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in cloud or observability technologies.
  • Experience in a SaaS, data-driven, or high-growth tech environment.
  • MBA or relevant leadership experience.
