Obsidian Security - Technical Account Manager

We are seeking a proactive Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our Customer Success team at Obsidian Security. This role involves driving customer value through technical advising on our SaaS security platform, acting as a subject matter expert on SaaS security challenges and best practices, and providing ongoing support and education to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering exceptional customer experience and technical assistance, managing multiple requests of varying complexity.
  2. Owning complex scenarios, collaborating with engineering, product management, and sales to achieve successful outcomes.
  3. Ensuring successful onboarding and integration of customers into our platform, and enhancing customer understanding and usage.
  4. Developing and improving in-product documentation, conducting product training, and identifying opportunities for process and product improvements.
  5. Creating and delivering Account Health checks and Quarterly Business Reviews.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in building and managing customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, especially Cloud and SaaS security concerns.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests effectively.
  • Experience with SaaS applications (e.g., Google Workspace, O365, Okta, Duo).
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, web authentication methods (tokens, OAuth, SAML).
  • Software engineering skills in Python are a plus.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions, incident response, threat triage, log analysis, and data correlation is advantageous.

  • This is a remote role, preferably for candidates in the Western US, with occasional travel (up to 5%).
