Smart Environmental Support Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an Account Manager (Recruiter) to work with our client, a Waste Management specialist based in the Wakefield area.

Working within a manufacturing environment, the Account Manager/Recruiter will be responsible for client and candidate engagement, streamlining communication between the recruitment team and the production team, and recruiting and managing the onsite flexible workforce.

The Role

Ensure the smooth operation of a well-established recycling facility by managing staff rotas, sickness, and holidays. Recruit new staff and manage a pool of candidates to maintain full staffing. Uphold customer satisfaction and the company's reputation for excellent service and compliance.

The Technical Account Manager will develop sector expertise, enabling recruitment, training, and support of the best workforce for the business.

Overview
  • Monitor employee performance, including pick rates, health and safety, and conduct.
  • Ensure staff are trained and motivated to meet operational goals.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Treat all employees with dignity and respect, ensuring mutual respect.
  • Identify and react to changes in material quality to maintain standards.
  • Manage non-compliance and safety breaches on shift.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Administration
  • Record and file operational information.
  • Create daily reports.
  • Provide holiday cover as needed.
