Wakefield | 12 month FTC

Smart Environmental Support Solutions is recruiting an Account Manager (Recruiter) to work with our client, a Waste Management specialist, based in Wakefield.

The role involves working within a manufacturing environment, where the Account Manager/Recruiter will engage with clients and candidates, streamline communication between the recruitment and production teams, and manage the onsite flexible workforce.

The Role

Ensure the efficient operation of a well-established recycling facility by managing staff rotas, sickness, and holidays. Recruit and manage a pool of candidates to keep the plant fully staffed, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction, service, and compliance.

The Technical Account Manager will develop expertise in the sector, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the business to recruit, train, and support the workforce effectively.

Overview

• Monitor employee performance, including pick rates, Health and Safety compliance, and conduct.
• Ensure staff are well trained and motivated to meet operational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
• Maintain a respectful and dignified work environment.
• Identify changes in material quality and respond appropriately to maintain quality and production standards.
• Manage non-compliance and breaches of Health and Safety regulations on shift.
• Uphold high standards of site Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including housekeeping.

Administration

• Record and file operational information.
• Create reports for daily operations.
• Provide holiday cover as required.
