Technical Account Manager

Do you have a technical sales or engineering background with product knowledge of machine parts, looking for a hands‑on role working on‑site with a key account for this rapidly growing business?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a long‑established engineering supplier at one of their major customer sites. This is a varied and rewarding role combining account management, customer support, and technical understanding – ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship management and practical problem solving with the opportunity to push up earnings through overtime and bonus!

This growing UK business supplies engineering parts and services to multiple industries, operating as a one‑stop partner for maintenance and manufacturing operations. They have built a strong reputation for quality and service and are now looking for a motivated Account Manager to join their team onsite with a key customer.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations within a customer's engineering stores – handling orders, quotations, and stock management – while also identifying opportunities for commercial improvement and cost savings. You'll build relationships with engineering and facilities managers, ensuring smooth operations and consistent service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in either technical sales, procurement, or stores management within an industrial or manufacturing environment looking to take the next step in their career at the growing company offering progression, overtime and bonus.

The Role:
  • Managing the onsite account for a key engineering customer
  • Handling orders, quotations, and stock control
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
The Person:
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial supply
  • Experience in account management, sales, or procurement
  • Full UK Driving Licence
