Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 DOE. Up to £6,600 in uncapped bonus + an additional £2,000 for EV Qualification
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, 42 hours per week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis
Due to expansion, Lookers BMW Stoke is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing additional repairs.
Reporting to the aftersales manager, Leanne Creswell, you will receive ongoing support and training to perform at your best. We offer excellent career progression and manufacturer accredited training, including Hybrid & Electric vehicle training to support your career growth.
Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.
- Carrying out vehicle health checks with the latest technology
- Performing vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Conducting additional repairs with customer approval
- Completing warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines and documentation
- Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
- Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. MOT license is a bonus.
Experience with the BMW brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
