Job summary

Finatal in London is seeking an Associate to join the Venture & Growth Equity team. You will play a meaningful role in evaluating investments across the European tech space and supporting the investment process.

The role requires 2–5 years in venture capital or private markets, strong financial modelling, and the ability to build credibility with founders and General Partners. Periodic travel is expected as part of the venture ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, fund investing or a related private markets environment.
• Strong interest in technology, innovation and venture investing.
• Experience conducting commercial and investment due diligence.
• Strong financial modelling and investment analysis skills.
• Demonstrated exposure to founders and General Partners with the ability to build credibility.
• Excellent academic track record.
• Experience underwriting fund investments, co-investments or secondaries.
• Willingness to travel periodically as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and investment due diligence.
• Evaluating venture and growth equity opportunities across funds, co-investments and secondaries.
• Engaging with investment partners and General Partners and managing the investment pipeline.
• Producing high-quality client materials and contributing to special projects.
• Tracking emerging technologies, venture market trends and industry developments.
