Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking a Legal Counsel to act as a partner to teams sourcing technology solutions and services underpinning Sky’s Connectivity business, for both residential and B2B customers. You will help deliver a Best in Class Connectivity Experience.

The role involves negotiating and drafting contracts, advising on risks, collaborating with Sky’s Managed Service Provider, supporting automation and AI initiatives, and developing training materials for the legal team.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor/barrister based in the UK.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Experience advising on commercial strategies in telecoms/tech sectors.
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft commercial technology/telecoms contracts with cross-functional teams.
• Advise on legal/commercial risks and propose business-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with external MSP on Sky contracts and develop templates.
• Support automation, self-serve guidance, and use of AI in workflows.
• Create training materials for legal colleagues and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with commercial and legal teams and report progress.
