Job summary

You will work one-on-one or in small groups, adapting resources and helping pupils engage with computer-based activities while collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to meet EHCP targets and learning plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or education setting.
• Strong knowledge of IT and confidence using technology.
• Confident supporting pupils with computer-based learning.
• Patient, caring and nurturing approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, proactive and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting pupils to access learning through IT and technology.
• Assisting pupils with computer-based activities and educational software.
• Adapting technology and learning resources to meet individual pupil needs.
• Supporting pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and digital skills.
• Supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour and social development.
• Working with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to meet individual needs.
• Supporting EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
