Job Description:

The Role

A Manager with an Oracle Controls focus within the team would typically be responsible for driving the delivery of all Oracle service lines as part of the wider ERP & Business systems team. This includes developing new business from existing clients and prospects, building deep relationships with blue chip organizations, and establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in assurance and consulting support related to Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Leading multiple Oracle assurance and advisory engagements.
  • Overseeing the scope, financial management, delivery risks, and review of deliverables.
  • Building and managing networks and client relationships at CIO, CFO, and Head of Internal Audit levels across various organizations.
  • Developing internal networks and maintaining relationships with colleagues across KPMG, promoting Oracle capabilities.
  • Expanding Oracle services in specific segments like B2C and B2B, and working across other sectors.
  • Coaching and developing team members, including training the wider Technology Risk Consulting team.
  • Leading product development and innovation in Oracle GRC, data, and analytics technologies.
  • Identifying and progressing business development opportunities, managing sales activities such as RFP responses, bid management, proposals, and client presentations.

Experience and Background

  • Experience in Oracle business analysis and understanding core financial processes within an Oracle environment.
  • Experience with ERP and business systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Functional experience with Oracle GRC and Financials, including Oracle Release 12 and Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience using Oracle data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of supporting technology platforms and the ability to present on industry topics.
  • Knowledge of system risks and controls, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Strong relationship development skills and ability to deliver within tight timelines and budgets.

The Person

  • Proven sales opportunity development experience.
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to present to large groups and translate technical data into accessible business language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adopting new technologies and innovations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience delivering technology consulting services related to Oracle.
  • Masters degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in professional services or IT consultancy, ideally Big 4.
  • Oracle Certifications are desirable.

This role requires specific Oracle controls experience, particularly in delivering Oracle process controls and assurance services. The candidate will engage in client-facing activities and relationship building across various corporate clients.
