Robert Half is supporting a global consulting firm in appointing a contractor to join as an Associate Tech Risk Consultant within their Technology Consulting practice. The successful candidate will be deployed to a key programme supporting third-party assurance activities within a major data and engineering environment.

Assignment Details:

1. Initial 3-month contract, with scope to extend
2. Remote-first, with flexibility for occasional on-site days if needed
3. £600/day + 12.07% holiday pay (via PAYE) (PAYE with employer’s NI & tax deducted at source – unlike umbrella companies, there are no admin fees or hidden deductions)

Project Overview:

The role will sit within an Attestations & Assurance team, focused on:

• Facilitating external client audits
• Supporting the delivery of ISAE 3000 assurance reports (similar to SOC 2)
• Enhancing operational resilience evidence across services

Skills & Experience Required:

• Hands-on experience with ISAE 3000 and/or SOC 2 testing
• Financial Services experience/background is required
• Background in technology risk, assurance, or IT audit
• Strong documentation and control testing capabilities
• Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally with tech and risk teams
