Job summary

Currys in Newry is seeking a part-time Sales Colleague on a fixed term peak contract. You’ll work 8 hours per week with flexibility to take extra hours and you’ll earn £12.71 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour.

No prior tech knowledge is required; full training is provided during induction at either virtual sessions or at Currys academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. You’ll assist customers, process sales and support store operations.

Qualifications

• No in-depth knowledge of tech required; full training provided.
• Induction 2–3 days either virtually or at Currys academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham.
• Flexible to work weekends; stores open 7 days 9am–8pm.

Responsibilities

• Asking the right questions to match customers with products.
• Making every customer interaction memorable.
• Offering support services like delivery and installation, recycling and ways to pay.
• Contributing towards the overall sales performance of the store.
• Working across different departments and product ranges.
• Supporting with the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
