Job summary

Onyx-Conseil is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a bank client in City of London. The role focuses on delivering IT projects on time and within budget, leveraging both software development and infrastructure expertise.

The role requires leadership across teams, strong communication, and experience with Scrum/Kanban methodologies in a hybrid work setting in London. 12-month FTC with salary in the £60k–£70k range.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT projects end-to-end (analysis, design, build, test, implement, handover).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage team capacity.
• Technical skills in IT infrastructure and software development environments.
• Mentor and energise project members and manage risks and issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high performance of service-related processes and drive improvements.
• Own critical risks and issues, coordinating resolution with stakeholders.
• Understand project scope and translate into delivery plans.
• Report metrics and analyse demand vs. capacity.
• Lead IT product delivery using Scrum and Kanban.
• Drive quality, speed, and sprint learning improvements.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering and Security to meet policies.
