Job summary

TD Securities is seeking an Associate in London to support the Technology Investment Banking team. You will work on live M&A and strategic advisory mandates, model financial scenarios, and coordinate due diligence with clients, investors and counsel.

You will engage in client coverage, market updates, and business development while mentoring analysts on multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of investment banking (M&A) or corporate finance experience.
• Demonstrated M&A execution experience, preferably within technology, software, fintech or related sectors.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day M&A and strategic advisory workstreams.
• Build and review complex financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, merger models, LBOs).
• Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, investors, and advisers.
• Prepare marketing materials, process documentation and transaction deliverables.
• Support in negotiations, valuation discussions and deal structuring.
