eSIM Go is seeking an experienced Tech Lead for our Breeze Squad to oversee and drive the development of our e-commerce based architecture and customisation. This role is crucial in maintaining and setting up eSIM stores for our partners and our Breeze platform, ensuring seamless integration with our eSIM technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of Shopify-based eSIM stores for partners and the Breeze platform.
• Oversee the customisation and maintenance of eSIM stores, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with the product team to implement new features and improvements to our platform.
• Lead the design and implementation of a Breeze mobile app.
• Manage the integration between Shopify applications and the eSIM Go API.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our e-commerce platforms.
• Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in Shopify, eSIM technologies, and e-commerce trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Shopify (or other e-commerce platform) development and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as React or Vue.js.
• Familiar with mobile development technologies in both Android and iOS.
• Extensive knowledge of backend technologies, particularly Node.js with TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud services, such as AWS, Cloudflare and fly.io.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems and eSIM technology.
• Experience in the travel or mobile connectivity industry.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in software development processes.
• Track record of leveraging AI to increase team efficiency and productivity.
