Technical Lead

Milton Keynes - 3 days a week onsite

£65,000 - £75,000

iO are working with an established and rapidly growing Technology company who are looking for a Tech Lead to join them on a permanent basis

They are a digital marketing company that specialize in performance marketing and affiliate platforms. They have created an advanced AI/ML data platform that integrates into Casino and Sports betting brands. It is a search and comparison engine that can help users to make better choices and informed decisions.

In this role you you'll be responsible for steering the engineering team's technical approach, ensuring quality and scalability across the stack. You'll play a key role in unblocking delivery, raising engineering standards, and translating product vision into executable technical plan

We are looking for experience in:

• Proven experience leading full stack engineering teams
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Database design using MySQL and MongoDB, ORM's such as TypeORM or Sequelize
• Strong architectural design skills across systems, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Experience with modern DevOps tooling including Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on familiarity with AWS services for scalable web apps
• Proficiency in setting and enforcing engineering standards and reviewing code for performance and maintainability
• Experienced in mentoring engineers and supporting team capability growth
