Civic Recruitment Limited seeks a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership for the NEC Housing and Asset Management ecosystem within a local authority. You will manage environment configurations, oversee deployments, and integrate data governance and release processes to ensure robust performance across development, testing, and production platforms.

The role requires significant NEC experience in housing/public sector IT, with proven leadership in deployment pipelines and release

Qualifications

Significant experience configuring and managing NEC Housing/Asset Management systems.
Experience leading technical environments, deployment pipelines, and release management activities.
Proven experience managing complex IT systems within housing, local government, or public sector environments.

Responsabilités

Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for NEC system configuration and environment management.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot NEC Housing and Asset Management modules.
Ensure consistent configuration across Development, Test, Pre-Production, Training, and Production environments.
Monitor system performance, stability, and availability across all environments.
Manage technical engagement with NEC suppliers, including patches, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Lead release planning, deployment scheduling, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate deployment activities across technical and business teams.
Develop and maintain release management processes and deployment documentation.
Implement rollback procedures and emergency fixes to minimize service disruption.
Ensure all releases are thoroughly tested and approved before implementation.
