Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Hackney, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced NEC Project Manager for a 6-month contract with a local authority. You will lead end-to-end NEC system implementations, ensure on-time delivery, manage governance, budgets, and cross-functional teams.

You will work with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to drive successful adoption, oversee UAT, risk management, and ensure compliance with information security and procurement requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering NEC system implementations.
• Proven experience managing multiple NEC modules simultaneously.
• Experience leading end-to-end system delivery programmes.
• Strong project management experience within complex environments.
• Experience with change control, risk management and supplier management.
• Experience in Local Government or Public Sector environments.
• Knowledge of system migrations and business transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NEC system projects and module implementations.
• Manage multiple NEC workstreams and implementation programmes.
• Develop and maintain project plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate NEC module deployment activities from initiation through go-live.
• Manage cross-module dependencies, integration requirements and critical delivery paths.
• Work closely with technical leads, solution architects and stakeholders to ensure success.
• Lead governance and reporting frameworks; monitor budgets and resources.
