Join a dynamic research team delivering impact to manufacturing in the North West! Are you an expert in Additive Manufacturing looking to step into a high-impact leadership role? As our Technical Lead in Additive Manufacturing (AM), you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial application. You will mentor talented project engineers, drive technical excellence, and shape the future of our technology roadmap. Our group matures and transitions academic research into real-world industrial solutions. In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of sophisticated AM projects, ensuring they align with our strategic priorities and deliver maximum value to our industrial partners.

You will have:
  • Proven Expertise: A strong background in relevant technical research and the successful delivery of sophisticated AM projects.
  • Technical Breadth: Deep knowledge in areas such as AM process development, material characterisation, process simulation, or online/offline monitoring and control tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration skills to bridge the gap between advanced research and practical industrial application.
