Your Role & Responsibilities
1. Technical Strategy & Execution

• Own end-to-end platform architecture, integrating low-code tools (Webflow, Xano) with AI-driven automation.
• Balance speed and scalability, ensuring we leverage low-code while developing proprietary, defensible tech.
• Partner with leadership to align technology investments with financial outcomes-building cost-effective and revenue-driving solutions.
• Optimize search and data retrieval using Algolia and other intelligent search tools.
• Work closely with cooperative associations and procurement professionals to ensure our platform meets industry needs.

2. Hands-On Development & AI Integration

• Be a hands-on leader, comfortable writing code while also mentoring engineers and hiring freelancers where needed.
• Implement AI-driven features to automate procurement processes and enhance user experience.
• Ensure seamless API integrations, optimizing third-party services while maintaining platform flexibility.

3. Team Leadership & Hiring

• Recruit, mentor, and lead adaptable product engineers who thrive in a low-code/high-impact environment.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and learning.
• Collaborate with freelancers and agencies to scale engineering efforts without overcommitting internal resources.

4. Product & Business Alignment

• Tie technical decisions to business impact, ensuring every investment drives measurable financial benefits.
• Translate business needs into scalable, modular solutions that evolve with our users.
• Develop best practices for security, performance, and reliability in a lean, fast-moving startup.

Who You Are

• Experienced Technical Leader - 5+ years in engineering, product development, or technical leadership.
• Low-Code/No-Code Enthusiast - Familiar with Xano, Webflow, or similar tools.
• AI & Automation Mindset - Strong grasp of AI-driven workflows, search optimization, and process automation.
• Product-First Thinker - Comfortable making trade-offs between speed, cost, and long-term scalability.
• Full-Stack Capable - Hands-on with React, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Rapid Learner & Systems Thinker - Able to adapt to new tools and frameworks quickly.
• Strong Communicator & Leader - Can mentor, hire, and collaborate effectively across teams.
