Founded in 2014 by Konstantin Lomashuk and Vasiliy Shapovalov, who has also founded p2p.org, Cyber.Fund has backed over 150 projects, including major blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Cosmos, Solana, and Polkadot. Since 2014, we have worked with leading crypto teams and actively contributed to projects such as P2P.org, =nil; Foundation, and the Lido DAO. We assist with everything from operational and technological decisions to security and research questions, helping companies go from zero to one.

In 2023, they launched a $100 million venture fund to invest in startups developing technologies that combine blockchain with AI and IoT. Their mission is to accelerate the transition to a decentralized, programmable economy that benefits humanity.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Tech & Investment Researcher to support our due diligence efforts, scout high-potential early-stage startups, and analyze complex technologies in AI and robotics. You’ll be a critical part of our investment team, helping us move fast and make smart, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct technical and financial due diligence on potential investments

• Support investment decisions with deep research and analysis

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate early-stage companies

• Source new startups through research, outreach, and network-building

• Analyze trends across AI, robotics, and deep tech to inform thesis areas

• Contribute to the outreach and conversion funnel (target: 2/100 startups engaged move into the pipeline)

• Deliver a complete research project within your first 3 months

• Work closely with the investment team to prepare memos, market analysis, and technical assessments

You Might Be a Fit If You...

• Are based in the EU or nearby time zones

• Have a strong technical background (Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred)

• Have experience in software engineering, product, or tech roles at top companies (e.g., Google, Meta, or similar)

• Have experience supporting due diligence, technical evaluation, or investment research

• Can build and work with financial models

• Think deeply and analytically, but move fast

Nice-to-Haves:

• Background as a product manager or tech lead in a deep tech company

• Understanding of crypto or Web3 (not required)

• Familiar with early-stage investing or venture capital workflows
