Job summary

DPD UK Preston is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team on a local route. You’ll be responsible for around 40–50 stops a day, ensuring on-time deliveries and a positive customer experience, with autonomy and routine.

You’ll use Saturn handheld devices as your mission control, loading and unloading parcels with sack barrows, and you’ll represent the company as the friendly face of DPD in the community.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active with lifting involved in the job.
• Respectful to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and progress.
• Provide friendly, safe and professional customer service.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
