Job summary

DPD is seeking a delivery driver to own a designated local route around Dunstable, handling around 30 stops per day and ensuring reliable, friendly service. You will drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices, and be the face of the DPD experience for customers.

The role requires a valid C1 licence with DQC/CPC accreditation, about 6 months of relevant driving experience, and a physique comfortable with loading parcels. Autonomy and professionalism are key in this field.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and able to handle lifting involved in the job.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with around 30 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using appropriate equipment.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and manage progress.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every drop-off.
