Job summary

The Wellcome Sanger Institute invites applications for Head of TDS Delivery. You will have full line management responsibility for a team of experienced scientists, shaping strategy, recruiting and overseeing performance across the employee lifecycle.

You will drive strategic planning, prioritisation and resource allocation in close collaboration with the Associate Director of TDS to ensure timely delivery of high-quality workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage the TDS Delivery development project portfolio, prioritising, planning and resourcing to deliver high-value activities.
• Provide line management and professional development for the TDS Delivery team.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of TDS and stakeholders to align activities with organisational priorities.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies and constraints and address challenges proactively.
