Job summary

The Wellcome Sanger Institute is seeking a Head of TDS Delivery for a 12-month fixed-term role within the Tech Dev & Scale-up (TDS) Delivery team at Wellcome Sanger Institute. You will have full line management responsibility for a team of scientists, driving professional development and the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to performance management.

Ability to oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle from recruitment to performance management.
Strong planning, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the TDS Delivery team with clear direction and accountability.
Collaborate with the Associate Director of TDS for strategic planning, prioritisation and resource allocation.
Oversee the development project portfolio, prioritisation, planning and resourcing for high-value activities.
Identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies and constraints across the portfolio.
Foster cross-functional relationships with scientific programmes and platform teams to maximise impact.
