Job summary

Origin Legal seeks a senior commercial/tech solicitor to join as Partner in Thames Valley, spearheading the technology and outsourcing practice within a leading national firm. You will manage high-value IT contracts, licensing, and data protection initiatives while shaping client relationships across the region.

This leadership role offers hybrid working, autonomy to grow a regional practice, and collaboration with a national team of specialists.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ PQE in commercial or tech law at Senior Associate or Partner level.
• Proven track record on software licensing, SaaS/PaaS, IT procurement, and cloud services.
• Strong experience in data protection, cybersecurity, and IP licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex commercial and technology transactions for a national client base.
• Develop and execute business development strategies for the Thames Valley tech sector.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to firm-wide growth.
