The opportunity

We are seeking to expand our team with IT M&A / strategy consultants. As an Executive (Junior manager), you’ll advise clients in the financial services sector, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing transaction strategies. You will apply your technical skills across the M&A transaction lifecycle, including pre-deal diligence, carve-outs, integrations, and other projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Contributing to and/or leading pre-deal engagements such as technology and operational due diligence
2. Contributing to and/or managing technology or other workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs
3. Assisting in business origination activities, including pitches and presentations, within project teams
4. Executing Strategy and Transaction services to support client decision-making
5. Working in a dynamic environment with strong business acumen to add value to clients
6. Supporting practice development initiatives and team culture
7. Participating in people initiatives

To qualify for the role you must have

1. Experience in professional services or consulting within Transactions, especially due diligence, carve-outs, or integrations
2. Strong communication skills and experience in producing high-quality reports, papers, and presentations
3. Experience managing IT project workstreams and deliverables
4. Broad IT experience in applications, infrastructure, architecture, risk & cyber, or financials
5. Strong analytical skills linking operational analysis to financials and understanding implications for client strategy
6. Flexibility to travel as needed

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Experience building relationships with senior clients and influencing decision makers
2. Experience in the financial services sector
3. Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
4. Experience supporting sales and business development in consulting
5. Excellent problem-solving skills
6. Strong teamwork skills in diverse groups
