Job Summary

Join Lloyds Banking Group as a Tech and Tooling Manager within the Markets & AI Modelling Team, focusing on AI Tech and Tooling in the Model Risk Office. This role offers growth in a dynamic AI environment, collaborating across teams to develop and support AI/GenAI tooling for scalable validation and risk oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Develop tools for validation, testing, explainability, and monitoring of AI models.
  • Create prototype pipelines and frameworks for AI testing.
  • Build reusable code libraries for documentation and validation processes.
  • Innovate and improve validation tooling continuously.
  • Develop benchmarking templates and dashboards for assurance.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies to keep the tooling landscape future-proof.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and governance among stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in AI Model Development/Validation or related quantitative roles, preferably in financial services or regulated industries; PhD considered.
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, independent work ethic with ability to meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in Python, AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), SQL.
  • Knowledge of GenAI techniques and cloud AI platforms (GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of AI regulation and ethics frameworks.
