Set within the tranquil and historic surroundings of Shanklin Chine, our charming tearoom offers visitors a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy light refreshments surrounded by natural beauty. Whether it’s a pot of tea, a slice of homemade cake, or a quick bite during a day out, the tearoom is a key part of the visitor experience at one of the Isle of Wight’s most treasured attractions.

We’re currently looking for a friendly and dependable Tearoom Assistant to help us deliver a warm, attentive and memorable customer experience in this uniquely beautiful setting.

What You’ll Do

As a Tearoom Assistant, you will:

  • Welcome and serve customers in a warm and professional manner
  • Prepare and serve teas, coffees, cakes, and light refreshments
  • Maintain a clean, organised and inviting front-of-house environment
  • Handle payments and operate the till
  • Assist with stock replenishment and light cleaning duties
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
