Job summary

Experis IT is seeking a Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant for a Reading-based, onsite role. Active DV Clearance is required and the initial contract is for 3 months with potential extension.

You will configure, customize and integrate Teamcenter within a highly secure engineering environment, working closely with engineering, manufacturing and IT stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong Teamcenter ITK development experience, extensive customization skills and proven integration

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize and support Teamcenter solutions.
• Develop Teamcenter enhancements using ITK, custom handlers, user exits and workflow extensions.
• Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and manufacturing, engineering and enterprise systems.
• Develop APIs and Middleware solutions to support data exchange across platforms.
• Support migration, upgrade and transformation activities within the Teamcenter estate.
• Carry out code reviews, unit testing and software QA activities.

Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant (DV Cleared)Location: Reading (Onsite 5 days per week)
Contract: Initial 3 months with potential extension

Experis are supporting a major programme within a highly secure engineering environment and are looking for an experienced Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant with strong Teamcenter development and integration expertise.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a complex Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment supporting engineering and manufacturing systems. You'll be responsible for configuring, customising and integrating Teamcenter with a range of enterprise applications while ensuring robust, scalable and secure solutions are delivered.

Given the niche nature of this skill set, we are open to speaking with candidates from a variety of Teamcenter backgrounds, particularly those with experience across Teamcenter development, integration, customisation, SOA or AWC.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customise and support Teamcenter solutions.
• Develop Teamcenter enhancements using ITK, custom handlers, user exits and workflow extensions.
• Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and manufacturing, engineering and enterprise systems.
• Develop APIs and Middleware solutions to support data exchange across platforms.
• Support migration, upgrade and transformation activities within the Teamcenter estate.
• Carry out code reviews, unit testing and software quality assurance activities.
• Produce technical documentation and solution designs.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues while providing third-line support.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, IT and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimisation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience with Teamcenter.
• Strong Teamcenter customisation and configuration experience.
• Teamcenter ITK development experience.
• Experience developing custom handlers, user exits and workflow customisations.
• Strong software development experience with C#, .NET and/or C++.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
• Strong database knowledge including SQL Server, Oracle or other relational databases.
• Experience with data migration and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of software development best practices including code reviews, testing and source control.
• Experience working within complex engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience in highly secure or regulated environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Teamcenter SOA and/or AWC.
• Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP and manufacturing platforms.
• Azure DevOps, Git or Bitbucket experience.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to engineering, manufacturing or product development environments.
