Location: South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3RF
Salary: £34,982- £40,855 per annum (pro-rata based on hours worked)
Contract: Variable hours, Fixed-Term Contract (18 months)
The University Parks team is responsible for the care of the University Parks and all University-owned green spaces surrounding departmental buildings. Working collaboratively, the team plays an essential role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of Oxford’s green estate, providing spaces that inspire staff, students, and visitors alike.
As our Training and Development Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of horticultural professionals. You will manage and mentor apprentices, provide tailored training for University Parks staff, and ensure the safe and effective operation of our on-site nursery. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training plans, support apprentices’ theoretical and practical learning, and embed a strong culture of health and safety across the department.
