We are looking for a motivated and organised Team Secretary to join our friendly West Adult Learning Disability Team. In this important role, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.
You will deliver a responsive and professional administrative service, managing a range of secretarial and office tasks, ensuring requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The role involves maintaining effective communication with colleagues, service users, carers, and partner agencies, while always upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.
As a valued member of the administrative team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and provide support and cover for other administrative and clerical staff when required, helping to maintain continuity of service.
This post forms part of the West Adult Learning Disability Team's administration team and is specifically required to provide cover on Thursdays and Fridays.
Acting as a pivotal role for all communication with the team, patients/relatives/carers, medical staff.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload which can be pressured and require a high level of concentration.
Be a trained or willing to undertake training to be a first aider and fire warden for the team.
Electronic ordering and requisitioning of stationery and equipment in conjunction with the admin lead.
To provide a high quality, efficient and confidential secretarial service to the team, facilitating effective communication at all times, which includes letters, reports and minutes of meetings.
To maintain diaries of engagement for meetings and appointments where appropriate for the team, including out of county meetings and appointments.
To update and record information onto the Trusts electronic systems and unit databases as require within Trust key target times.
