Job summary

Warburtons in Widnes is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to help run a safe, efficient distribution operation. You will support the team, operate a range of equipment, and ensure quality and food safety standards are met. The role is permanent, full-time with a 4 on/4 off night pattern (Thu/Fri 4pm–4am, Sat–Wed 5pm–4am).

Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in a similar FMCG role is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication with a solid level of numeracy.
• Ability to work safely and consider others' safety.

The Recipe

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: You will take responsibility for putting safety first and always behave in a manner that ensures your own safety and that of others.
• Team Support: You will provide basic support and guidance within the team, leading by example.
• Compliance: You will comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards and working practices.
• Equipment Operation: You will take responsibility for operating a wide range of equipment across the operation to deliver site standards.
• Quality Products: You will adhere to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products.

Our Widnes Depot is a short drive from Junction 7 of the M62 and 3 miles away from Runcorn Station.

Opened in September 2021, we now run 40 routes with over 100 colleagues in distribution and our warehouse team! Drivers pick and deliver to retail stores and serve the local area and across the North West.
