Job summary

One O One Convenience Stores is seeking a proactive Team Member for our Thornliebank store. You will create a welcoming environment for customers, handle till operations, and contribute to a secure, well-merchandised shop.

Flexibility in working hours and a can-do attitude are essential to join our team in Scotland. Prior retail or customer service experience is desirable, with opportunities for career development and recognition.

Qualifications

• Experience in till operations and cash handling is preferred.
• Flexible with working hours and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in retail or customer service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for your store and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Maintain security measures and ensure the store is secure at all times.
• Keep the store stocked, labelled and well merchandised.
• Adhere to Licensing and Compliance requirements at all times.
• Upsell products and promote promotions to customers.
• Provide excellent service at the till and support sales.

We are looking for experienced and talented Team Member to join our Store, Thornliebank.

The Role

• To be an ambassador for your store, making the store your own, create a welcoming atmosphere for the customers.
• A 'can do' attitude who values being part of a successful team.
• Ensure that security measures within your store are adhered at all times.
• Ensure the store is fully stocked,labelled and well merchandised.
• Make sure Licensing and Compliance is adhered at all times.
• Upselling products and all promotions.
• Providing a good service to the customer, serving and promoting sales at the till.

Experience

• Be efficent in till operations.
• Competent in cash handling.
• The ability to work on your own or part of a team.
• Flexibility towards working hours is required.
• Experience gained within a retail enviroment is desirable.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable
• Confident approach to maximising sales.
