Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

1 x permanent post, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Half hour early finish 1 day per week on a rotational basis.

The post holder will ensure that an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service is delivered to the Multidisciplinary Team which comprises of Managerial, Medical, Psychotherapy, Psychology, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy staff within Adult Community Mental Health Services across Glasgow City HSCP.

The post holder will ensure that the single point of access operates effectively and will work independently for much of the time managing their daily workload, supporting the wider Team and may be required to provide day to day supervision of staff with the service.

The post holder should possess an excellent knowledge of EMIS Web or an equivalent Patient Administration.

Applicants should note that the post holder will provide cover for administration colleagues within the Team and across Glasgow City HSCP North West Locality ( Adult Mental Health Services) during periods of sickness and annual or other leave.
