Job description

Our Team Managers are responsible for driving results through their teams. They ensure their team members are engaged, well-managed, and productive. The role is fast-paced and ever-changing, presenting a challenging environment.

Reporting to the Department Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and driving KPIs, taking action to meet targets daily and weekly
  • Setting performance targets, reviewing progress, and creating improvement plans, including cost reduction and standards enhancement
  • Identifying solutions and driving continuous improvement strategies
  • Spotting and developing talent through coaching and guidance
  • Managing colleague welfare and attendance standards
  • Assigning tasks and conducting daily shift briefs
About you

You should have a strong work ethic and:

  • Management or supervisory experience in large-scale production or warehouse operations, ideally in food manufacturing
  • The ability to challenge decisions and behaviors to ensure consistent customer service, with strong problem-solving skills
  • A proven track record of managing people and delivering results through a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assertiveness and decision-making ability
  • A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Understanding of cost models, budgetary control, and pest control management
