Job Title: Team Manager (Children)
Location: Rochdale
Working Hours: Hybrid
Rate: £46 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Team Manager to join a busy team in Rochdale.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership and supervision to a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and adherence to policies and procedures.
  2. Oversee complex child protection cases, offering guidance and support to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback, training, and development opportunities.
  4. Conduct and review risk assessments to identify potential dangers to children and implement appropriate interventions.
  5. Work collaboratively with other agencies, such as law enforcement, healthcare providers, and educational institutions, to coordinate services and support for children and families.
  6. Ensure compliance with local and national child protection policies and legislation.
  7. Respond to emergencies and critical incidents, providing leadership and decision-making support.
  8. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  9. Organize and deliver training sessions for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Engage with the community to raise awareness about child protection issues and promote preventative measures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
