We are excited to offer a permanent Team Manager position within our strong and stable Assessment Service Management Team.
Our Assessment Service is part of Bolton Council’s Front Door, handling referrals and assessments for children at risk of significant harm or in need of support. Responsibilities include Section 47 enquiries, social care assessments, Initial Child Protection Conferences, Care Proceedings, and Public Law Outline initiation.
As a Team Manager, you will lead, supervise, support, and guide a team of social workers alongside a Deputy Team Manager. Your role is to ensure high-quality services, effective safeguarding, and compliance with statutory and legislative requirements. You will promote excellent standards through supervision, quality assurance, performance management, and audits.
You will collaborate with the management team and Strategic Lead to drive service improvements, aiming to ensure the safety and better outcomes for Bolton’s most vulnerable children.
You must be a qualified social worker with proven safeguarding, child protection, or Court work experience, particularly within the Front Door environment.
