£43k - £53.8k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

• Delivering routine and non-routine maintenance across patch.
• Handling operational activities within budget allocations.
• Owning and completing specific projects within the geographical patch.
• Carrying out all necessary quality and technical inspections.
• Managing both SGN employees and contractors across the range of operational activities at all pressure tiers of SGN’s gas transmission network.
• Providing a safe, efficient, and effective service to all of our customers.
• Managing performance, delivering improvements by embracing innovation and challenging the norm.
• Participating in a depot standby rota, for which appropriate additional payments are made.

What you will need

• Having good understanding of the operation of key transmission and distribution maintainable assets
• Managing a team to deliver excellent operational performance
• An extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedure is essential.
• Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
• Good leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be able to act on your own initiative.
• Effective communication skills at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
• Committed to safety and to providing coaching & leadership.
• A full valid driving licence is essential.
