Job Description

Support the People & Culture Manager to lead the Organisational Development Team within the People & Culture Service through the management and delivery of planned OD interventions. Provide management support to the OD Team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service provision to Council Services, assisting with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives outlined in the People & Culture Service Plan and the Community Plan.

Requirements

The duties of this post require access to the public sector network. The successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information disclosed on a basic disclosure will be discussed prior to a formal offer.

The Individual

This is a full-time, temporary position based at the Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. The post is temporary until 30/08/2026. Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4pm on Friday. The work style is 'Mobile', with 20-49% of time spent in an office or other work location. You will work at your base or another agreed location 1 to 2.5 days per week, with the remainder working remotely.
