A mental health service provider in London is seeking a Team Manager for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. This role includes leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high clinical standards, and implementing evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in mental health service management, aiming to deliver positive outcomes for service users. The Team Manager will provide operational coordination and leadership for specialist and targeted Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Key responsibilities include managing performance, coordinating multidisciplinary decision and allocation processes, and contributing to team capacity planning and resource prioritization based on needs.
Working in partnership with the Team Consultant Psychiatrist(s), Clinical Team Lead, and Service Lead, the post-holder will ensure high clinical standards are maintained, optimize resource use, and deliver positive outcomes for service users and their families. They will also contribute to the service's ongoing development, aligning with CAMHS philosophy within the Trust.
The post holder will provide line management supervision to team members, including discipline leads, and work closely with borough-specific service and clinical leads to deliver evidence-based care, incorporating routine outcome measurement into clinical practice. They will be part of the local CAMHS senior management team and support the CAMHS Directorate Manager in reviewing, developing, implementing, and delivering CAMHS services, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and national priorities.
