Team Manager - Qualified Social Worker

Location: Cheshire

Pay rate: £50 per hour

Are you an experienced and passionate Social Work Team Manager seeking career progression? Pertemps Professional Recruitment is looking for an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Work Team Manager to lead a dedicated Leaving Care 16+ Team. You will work within this Authority’s Leaving Care 16+ Service, in a busy and supportive environment that assesses and supports vulnerable children and their families, intervening early to provide support for vulnerable adults. The service maintains strong links with our Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help colleagues to promote community support when social care involvement is no longer required.

In accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, and guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions. Your significant social work experience and excellent communication skills will enable you to establish and maintain relationships with service users and agencies to meet their needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions. Employing best practices, you will strive to deliver the best outcomes for children, with a passion for supporting children and families to thrive. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and operate efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
  • SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree; creative, flexible, forward-thinking approach
  • Experience in a Social Services Directorate or statutory/voluntary agency
