About this opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced applicant who would provide management and leadership to the Learning Disability, Transition and Autism Team in Carlisle. This is a permanent post.

The successful candidate would hold a professional qualification in Social Work, be creative, innovative and positive within their management style and be able to demonstrate that they are person centred and committed in providing oversight to the needs and outcomes of adults with a learning disability, Autism and young people who are moving through transition towards adulthood. You would also have experience in managing team performance and be dedicated to promoting a person centred and strengths-based approach as part of your role.

The Carlisle Team is a lively and supportive Team who will require a manager who is committed and who is able to demonstrate skills in leading through change, as well as being an excellent communicator with a commitment to effective partnership working.

The Post will be based in West Cumberland but may also involve travelling across the geographical area of Cumberland, but this can be balanced with homeworking as needed.
