An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to join our enthusiastic Countywide Learning Disabilities team in Northumberland!
The post is permanent, full time at 37hrs per week based at Eddie Ferguson House, Blyth.
As a Team Manager you will oversee and get the best out of a team of learning disability social workers and care managers. The team will be linked to the South locality of Northumberland but will cover countywide duties. You will be part of a larger learning disability service covering the whole of Northumberland with strong management and peer support in the role.
The job encompasses motivating the team to high levels of performance, managing staff workload and the workflows effectively, supervision and appraisal of team members, and key other areas of work including safeguarding adults and assisting with service development where necessary.
Training and personal development opportunities will be available.
You will also be responsible for managing a delegated health and social care budget for the locality.
