About the Role

Medway Children’s Services are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fostering Support & Development Team Manager to join their dedicated Fostering Service. This interim role will provide essential support and leadership across the wider service, helping manage capacity and drive quality outcomes for children and foster carers.

Responsibilities
  • You will manage a multidisciplinary team including:
  • Supervising Social Workers
  • Family Support Worker
  • Placement Officer

The team plays a vital role in the support and development of foster placements, including leading on Annual Reviews, evaluations, and ongoing carer development.

You will be expected to take a lead from day one, ensuring strong safeguarding practices, effective supervision, and innovative practice delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader with a solid grounding in fostering to make a meaningful difference.
